Conveyors are used to transport products between two or more locations. The variety of products a conveyor system transports ranges from bolts to pallets, and everything in between for distribution and manufacturing systems. The industrial conveyor system is like a central nervous system for the operations, so it must run efficiently. Cornerstone automation systems (CASI), an all round manufacturer of industrial conveyors, is actively developing material handling equipment and systems to attain superior quality products.
Businesses that ship, receive, store, handle, manufacture, or distribute, know that the conveyor systems are definitely their operation’s physical nervous system; the one thing that must operate for everything else to function. The basic categories of industrial conveyors are horizontal, inclined, vertical loop and closed-circuit systems. They have a tough chain conveyor which is specifically designed to bear heavy load and dynamic applications. They also bear a curved section that allows lifting of heavy loads with ease. Industrial conveyor includes roller conveyors, powered conveyors, belt conveyors, inclined belt conveyors, chain conveyors, slat conveyors and portable conveyors.
CASI utilizes a pre-engineered approach to systems integration that is unique in the industry. A well implemented conveyor system makes a positive difference in efficiency, safety, and profitability for manufacturing and distribution operations.

In business teamwork, one of the most important things is decision making. Decisions must be made in a team nearly every second. For decision making, it is essential that all the members think rationally. Without a decision making process, effective teamwork is for all practical purposes impossible. There are some big decisions in teamwork—and some very small ones—but the fact is that decisions are important regardless of size. There are five ways by which decisions can be made:
-
Autocratic: In this type of decision, only one person is involved; no opinions are considered by other members of the team. If you require a quick decision, then this option is the best one.
-
Democratic: This type is very effective in a team, as everyone is participating in a team and everyone wants to give his/her opinion. Democracy is always encouraged.
-
Consultative: In most cases, consultative decision-making is encouraged; while one person makes the final decision, suggestions and opinions are accepted from others.
-
Consensus: Consensus is highly recommended because a collective decision is encouraged and this will result in enhanced team performance.
